Aloe Vera – The Solution for Stretch Marks

aloe vera

Aloe Vera has many amazing properties. As such it is extremely beneficial for treating skin problems. Stretch marks are caused by rapid weight gain or growth spurts. Some meds such as Corticosteroid creams, lotions, and pills can contribute to stretch marks by decreasing the skin’s ability to stretch.

Treatments of Stretch Marks

Pure Aloe Vera

Pure aloe is both a natural healing agent and a skin softener. As such it is used in many skin care products, however it is best applied in it’s purest form, straight from the Plant. Buy your Aloe Vera Plant at your local Garden Center which is about as pure as you can get. This makes it an ideal home remedy to try for stretch marks, and a cheap one for that. Cut of a piece of aloe vera plant as needed, splice the piece in half and rub it over stretch marks. Apply pure aloe  gel to your stretch marks daily after your shower. After a few weeks you will notice a fading and improvement of those unsightly marks.

Aloe Vera – Vitamin E – Vitamine A

Cut of your piece of aloe vera plant, splice in half, use a spoon to scrape of aloe vera flesh and put into a small mixing bowl. You will need about ½ cup of Aloe Pulp or Gel. Take ten Vitamin E softgels, poke a little hole and squeeze contents into bowl. Repeat same steps with five Vitamin A capsule. Ad 2 tsp of olive oil. Mix all contents together and apply daily.

Aloe Vera and Shea Butter

Mix ¼ cup of raw organic shea butter and ¼ cup of aloe vera pulp or gel. Keep in air tight container and apply daily.

Overnight Treatment

Mix one-fourth cup of aloe gel, oil from 10 vitamin E softgels and 1 tbsp of coconut oil. Store in glass jar and massage this mixture into your stretch marks until fully absorbed before bedtime. You can do this as often as you like but repeat at least once every night until you see visible results.

Aloe Vera and Coffee

Mix Aloe gel or juice with enough coffee grounds and olive oil to create thick paste. Apply directly to stretch marks and massage it gently for 5 minutes and let paste absorb for about 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and apply olive oil. Repeat daily until condition improves.

Skin Lightening Moisturizer

Mix Aloe gel, olive oil and wheat oil in equal parts. Let sit in airtight container overnight and apply to stretch marks. This mixture helps to lighten and fade stretch marks over time.

Aloe Vera and Lemon Juice

Mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 2 tablespoon of Aloe gel and gently massage into stretch marks. Clean of excess with warm water and apply your skin lightening moisturizer. Lemon juice is known for skin lightening and exfoliating and will help to fade unsightly stretch marks.

Massage Oil

Unless you have a big Aloe Vera Plant you may have to invest in some Pure Gel. Mix ½ cup aloe vera pulp (make sure it is gel like without lumps) or gel, 4 teaspoons organic almond oil, 1 tablespoon organic jojoba oil and 3 teaspoons honey until you get a smooth consistency. Massage a small amount into effected area for several minutes daily. Wash off excess oil and apply moisturizer if needed.

Try any of the above Aloe Vera formulas or combine two or more. Use daily until you see improvements of your skin condition. Any of these formulas are a great skin treatment with of without stretch marks and much healthier and cheaper than commercial products.
